КОММЕНТАРИИ: There were as many as three invasions of the pitch by Scottish supporters: after Glasgow Rangers F.C. first goal, one minute after F.C. Dinamo second goal, and three minutes before the end of the game. The Cup had to be offered to the winners in the dressing room because the Scottish fans had invaded the pitch and were playing havoc on the stands. After the game, they continued their vandalistic celebrations in the streets of Barcelona. As a result of these incidents, UEFA banned Glasgow Rangers F.C. from European competitions for one year. F.C. Dinamo even claimed the replay of the final under the precedent of similar circumstances in a game of Champions Cup on that same season: Borussia Mönchengladbach - Internazionale F.C. Milan, which was replayed after an Italian player was hit by a beer can.
